Repeat prescriptions can be requested in the following ways:
Whatever method you use, please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be processed, we will also post FP10 prescription forms to patients that provide a stamped addressed envelope and arrangements can be made for prescriptions to be sent to the chemists in Marc; when registering you must inform dispensary of this preference.
The dispensaries at Doddington Medical Centre and Manea Surgery are open from 08:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday.
Over the next year we will be introducing repeat dispensing for all our patients. We will let you know when it is set up. This will mean you no longer have to request you medication on a monthly basis at all, just collect it. In order to spread the large amount of work needed to set up over the year, we will set this up as your annual medication review becomes due. If you would like us to do this sooner then please enquire at one of our dispensaries.
For our patients who use local pharmacies, we can now set up Repeat Dispensing for your prescriptions. What this means is that we approve a years worth of medication and our computer system automatically sends the prescription each month to the pharmacy of your choice. All you have to do is collect your medication! If you would like to use this service please ask.
Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, clinical pharmacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review medication.
You will be notified if you need to make an appointment.
